Life lessons with quilt blocks

Yeet meaning:

  1. expressing a strong emotional reaction, often for humorous effect.”It’s finally Friday. Yeet!”

I’m teaching myself how to make quilts. Lord knows I’m not good in math and measurements and measuring. Each time I do it I get better and more confident. ALSO, each time I try I mess up in some way! Lol. As hard as it is for me; I’m allowing myself to mess up and correct it where and when I can. When I cannot. I just leave it as is! No one dies if a mistake occurs. Quilting to helping to shape my living. (I know it should say shape my life, but I’m leaving it as is)

My new quilt top. I’ll keep it as my tablecloth!
I call this quilt Yeet…

I saw a tutorial with this quilt pattern. She made it with 10×10 blocks. Mine were only 7 1/2 x 7 1/2. It didn’t quite do what hers did. lol However, like my momma used to say, “ Every spoil is a style”.
