My 4th grade student Joey gave a kitten. After warning me “it’s a lot of responsibility”. I later had a “4th Grade Cat Naming Contest” and Robert won with the name Sassy! And she was indeed sassy. She lived a long full life with my son, my mom and I. I know she is running around my mom’s feet in heaven. My mom was afraid of cats. I pray that in heaven she gets to pet her and receive her love.
